I am following Anna ji's anti corruption movement and analyzing with best of my knowledge. I have done broad calculation on how its affecting India and it politics. More over, how its going to be an impact on international market.
First of all - undoubtedly, Anna's fast is not easy thing to do for a normal human being. Hats off to him BUT I am bit nervous on the nature of the politics involved in it. May be Anna is misguided??
Secondly - Anna is fasting for what? In his view it may be for corruption? But I doubt, its something else.
In my opinion, we should not be doing such protest as nation will not get anything. Reason? The Jan Lokpal is almost a best thing on paper to stop the corruption. The country is snowed with political power and it lies within most of the hearts. The corruption started since 1940's when a big game was played and most of us are unaware of. Unfortunately 2010's is repeating it.
If you read my blog on Gandhi and Freedom you will know how Gandhi did his satyagrahas and what was the success story? How Gandhi got finances? Same questions here in current situation.
My 5 points for Anna's satyagraha:
1. Who is financing Anna and team?
2. Jan Lokpal is much better than Govt Lokpal BUT what's wrong in implementing it? Govt says - it will be a parallel govt but that's just rubbish statement.
3. Why media is so active? Broadcasting Anna's each and every movements while congress has power to shut up media -- obviously the money power also involve in it!!!
4. Congress says - Rahul ne bola Anna ko release karo jail se... why? How does he know it was wrong being? Is he important than any other minister? Is he capable of any other congress leader in designing the strategy?
5. Why Anna and team are now willing to talk to Rahul on Jan Lokpal?
Explanation
1. Congress putting money in it.
2. I don't see any significant change will happen with Lokpal bill?
i) I could see Ombudsman here in the UK and that's Lokpal here... and it does the same as a court does. They will put their suggestions to both parties and if one is not agreeing - they can go to the court. So the same milk in different pot? So when Court is not able to do anything on Bofors, fodder, suger, 3G blah blah .. then who is Lokpal? Where will they get the evidence?
ii) The lokpal's will be someone in local. Who will dictet him? We have cast politics, so who ensure he will not be biased? The power of a politician will be cruel to the higher level of lokpals? Who controlling them? President who is rubber stamp?
iii) When there are 500 people in the parliament with great power, who gonna take action against them?
3. Media is very active. The correspondent are sleeping and eating in the Ramlila maidan and talking to the people painted flag on their faces. Oh yes! media is also very keen to wipe out the corruption? Nightmare it is. Congress want everyone to be involved in this movement so when Rahul baba steps in, everyone knew about him for next PM. So media is as usual, being used without any responsibility.
This happened before 1947. Gandhi was doing satyagraha, British wanted him to be in lime light so the angry young man causing the problem for them with guns, can be stopped easily. Bose was bit intelligent (he was ICS) and didn't involve in direct fight against British as Azad, Bhagat and others did. So British could not do anything against him and so as Gandhi. Bose was talking to the British enemies to gain power and he was successful. Read my blog on Freedom.
Anna is Gandhi, I agree But he is being used to raise Rahul Gandhi as Gandhi was used to bring Nehru on top of other great leaders. Nothing wrong in accepting Jan Lokpal and the politicians knows it very well. They are powerful enough to handle any Lokpal.
Why Rahul Gandhi?? His surname says everything. We say Rahul Gandhi is good for nothing for this country BUT ask the same question about Sonia Gandhi. Is she good enough to rule which she is doing right now? A great person can't stay long - look at Dr. Kalam as President, TN Sheshan, Kiran Bedi .. blah blah... So keep this away from your mind that he is not capable!!!
Media just released some results on their survey and that says - Rahul Gandhi is best for next PM. Who the hell was involved in the survey? I want the details of the survey.
4. So Rahul is in limelight. He says release Anna and Anna was released. So Rahul has more power OR most intelligent person in congress? Its his projection. So wait and watch him as PM of this country and we will accept him.
5. After Rahul slowly slips in between, now its Anna and his team's turn to introduce him in the picture. Petition is being prepared to present against Rahul ji Gandhi, a best analyst, a great human being (staying overnight with Garib and pichari jati - Though he is failed to make his image like Mahatma Gandhi so Anna is being used). He will now speak to Anna's team and will agree on the bill. The bill still will be amend on some points and we will say hail Rahul who will be the PM after that. He will win the next election as well.
These are solely my analysis. Don't be panic!!!
